We have been in the business for 20 years, offering a comprehensive range of services specialising in Town and Rural Planning, Architecture, Urban Design and Heritage and Conservation. We provide expert advice on a range of planning issues encompassing small scale development through to large schemes.

Edward Downing
Head of Planning

Ed joined AGM in July 2018 after spending time overseas in New Zealand. He completed his BSc degree in Geography in 2015 and spent a sandwich year working in the Planning Team at Barton Willmore in Bristol. 

Ed came into AGM as an Assistant Planner and has proved his skills the most knowledgeable and committed member of our team.  His planning knowledge is second to none and he will always go above and beyond to ensure our clients get the best possible advice and service. 

Ed is our leading specialist all things planning and development and heads up our team with aplomb.

Daniel Warburton
Planner

Daniel joined AGM as an Assistant Planner having studied BSc Human Geography and Town Planning at Cardiff University. As part of his degree he spent a year working in a Transport Planning Consultancy and also worked with the Planning Department at Swindon Borough Council so he adds useful experience and transport knowledge to the AGM Team.

 

Daniel is working towards becoming RTPI accredited and AGM are helping him achieve this ambition whilst he is working on a wide range of urban, rural and commercial projects.

Lucy Mohsen
Principal Planner

Lucy is a chartered member of the RTPI and an experienced planner.

 

Having worked at WYG in Bristol for 15 years Lucy has a thorough understanding and wide experience of working with major developers as well as smaller individual clients.

 

Due to her versatility and wealth of experience, she is able to turn her hand from a large scale mixed-use development scheme to a rural dwelling, change of use or individual listed building renovation.  

Lucy has proved, over and over, again that success is in the detail and we are delighted that she is a valuable and integral part of our team.

James Tavernor
Senior Planner

James is a chartered member of the RTPI who joins AGM having previously worked for a national property developer,  planning consultants in Bristol and London and Local Government in Melbourne, Australia.

His wide range of experience in residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors provides him with a good understanding of the planning system and the requirements for achieving successful development.  AGM will be putting his skills to good use in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals as well as written representations for National and Local policy.

Amanda Allerton
Project Manager

Amanda brings  extensive business and marketing background to AGM's growing Team.

 

As Project Manager Amanda is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the company in order to maintain AGM's high standards and dedication to our clients. 

 

Previously, as Marketing and Events Manager Queen's Club W. London Amanda was responsible for all corporate events. She also invented and marketed a multi-award winning children’s product.

John White

CEO & Founder

The driving force behind Arena Global Management Ltd (AGM) John is a Civil Engineer by profession and has been a major player in construction and property development for over 40 years.  This unrivalled background allows John not only to gain planning permission for clients but also to advise on land evaluation, asset maximisation, construction and development matters.

 

Alongside his extensive urban and historic building knowledge John is at the forefront of rural and equestrian planning and has a proven track record in gaining successful planning consents for a wide variety of schemes from major applications, for commercial clients, to smaller schemes for residential property owners.

 

John is respected by colleagues in both the private and public sectors due to his extensive legislative and policy knowledge, together with strong advocacy and negotiation skills this ensures his long standing reputation within the planning fraternity.
