The Manor House itself is a Grade II Listed building which falls within the heart of the historic village of Box. A number of listed buildings surround the site, including a Grade II Listed former barn, listed outbuildings and further dwellings.
All refurbishments to this building were carried out using suitable and sympathetic materials to match those that were used originally. It was a project which was developed over a 2 year period to restore the whole of the building. The building was taken back to its original shell so that the walls and floors could be strengthened before other refurbishment work could begin.
The accompanying old cart shed found within the grounds of the Manor House was falling down but once rebuilt was given a new purpose.
AGM Ltd were appointed as project managers and employers representative by the clients. They monitored the progress with a professional team and consultees.
